El grande terópodo Baryonyx can grow up to 10m in length y es notable for its crocodile-like jaws. Baryonyx es primarily un piscivore – although it lives on land, it can grab peces out of rivers con its largo garras, y swim in shallow waters to catch prey con its largo, serrated dientes. It es believed that Baryonyx es also un scavenger, feeding on el carcasses of smaller dinosaurios on land.
